Tom Pidcock's Pinarello Dogma XC, with which he won at Mont Sainte Anne, in detail
The XCO World Champion showed off his rainbow jersey and won the last XCO World Cup of 2023. Tom Pidcock took the victory at Mont Sainte Anne after a very tough race, both for the conditions and the level he encountered in the race, and he did it with the Pinarello Dogma XC he has been riding all season.
Pidcock put its Pinarello Dogma XC to the test in the toughest racing conditions
British rider Tom Pidcock surprised us all with the commitment to include in his final season calendar the last two World Cup races, Snowshoe and Mont Sainte Anne. Two events that require long journeys, important time changes and where some of the favorite riders have preferred to skip them in previous years. But the World Champion did not shirk his role and in Canada showed why he is the current holder of the rainbow jersey.

The victory was achieved on the Pinarello Dogma XC that the Italian manufacturer has developed specifically for him and his partner Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, and this time he subjected it to one of the hardest factors for a mountain bike and all its components: the mud.
The Pinarello Dogma XC was introduced this year, only available to INEOS Grenadiers riders, and is the first MTB in a long time from Pinarello. A very original bike, with cutting-edge technology and which already has victories in World Cup and World Championships.
The Pinarello Dogma XC frame features a third triangle just above the bottom bracket, with this design they have gained extreme stiffness in one of the key areas and have managed to almost completely eliminate any twisting. The downside of this type of shape is that it can harbor dirt or mud on days like the one they encountered in Canada, but this image is proof that while the chainstays or top tube did accumulate mud, the triangle above the bottom bracket remains open.
