What Lars Forster had stuck on the frame of his Scott Spark
In the latest events, some kind of stickers have been seen on certain parts of Lars Forster's Scott Spark. What are these stickers?
What are those red stickers on Lars Forster's bike?
Sharpening the eye a lot, some curious people have noticed a peculiarity: Lars Forster's bike has some kind of stickers on certain parts of its frame. His Scott Spark is the same, there are no differences, but this sticker is striking.

It's not the first time that Scott SRAM has put these kind of stickers on, they've been doing it for a while, but now they seem to have changed colour, maybe something else.
These are components that have been attached to these parts of the frame for a number of years. They have been seen on the chainstays, on the headset, on the seatpost connection and always on the frame. This update is what caught our attention.
Lars Forster's stickers: Axxios
In Andora, Lars Forster carried it and won. But these two things are not related, of course. In fact, these stickers are not an improvement, they serve a different purpose.
These are Axxios stickers that are useful for vibrations. Just like in tennis racquets, they absorb all these vibrations. It's not just about making a frame stiffer just at those points that are most subject to the stresses of competition. We've seen a lot of things like gloves. But this new version is even better.
If those models from a couple of years ago reduced vibrations and provided those marginal gains, the new Axxios are the result of an in-depth study of the resonances of a carbon frame. In fact, they also include a tiny chip with its own programming for each position in which it is placed.
Forster used it in certain places, but this Axxios adhesive can be placed on the frame, on the suspensions, but also on rubbing parts such as tyres or hubs.
Axxios sells it to the public in kits depending on what you need to know about your bike and its requirements. Of course, they are probably not the same as the Scott SRAM or the Absolute Absalon BMC, but taking care of your frame and getting to know it better may be of interest to you.
Sniptec, which includes Axxios and other brands, has a mission to improve the efficiency of airflow and fluid flow, and although its main industry of application is automotive, it has been in cycling for some time now.
