The new Specialized Turbo Levo is more economical
At the beginning of 2021 the latest generation of the acclaimed Specialized Turbo Levo was presented, one of the benchmark electric mountain bikes that now comes in three new, more economical versions starting at €6,000, two in aluminium and one in carbon. These are the Specialized Levo Comp Carbon, Levo Comp Alloy and Levo Alloy.
New, more affordable aluminium and carbon versions of the Specialized Turbo Levo
Specialized's idea has been to keep all the features of the carbon S-Works and Expert models but in an aluminium frame, which considerably reduces the price of the whole.
So on these aluminium Turbo Levo we find the same variable geometry with up to 6 different options (read more about this here), mullet wheels (29" front and 27,5" rear), 150/160mm travel, the upgraded Turbo Full Power motor with 565 watts of maximum power and 90 Nm of torque and 700Wh battery (500Wh for the entry model).

What does change is the control display, and we won't see the new Master Mind Turbo control centre on these aluminium versions. Instead, they feature the well-proven TCU LED-based control from the previous generation.
In addition to the two aluminium models, there is also another carbon assembly available: the Turbo Levo Comp. At €8,200, it is a significant drop in price from the entry-level carbon range, and this one retains the Master Mind Turbo control centre. It's a well-balanced set-up that is sure to become a best-seller for the model.
