Henrique Avancini's Caloi ELITE CARBON FS for 2023

One of the surprises of this season was given to us by the Brazilian Avancini when he announced that he was leaving Cannondale, the brand where he has developed his entire career so far, to create and lead his own team: the Caloi Henrique Avancini Racing. Now, in Banyoles, we have been able to see up close the Caloi ELITE CARBON FS with which Avancini will race in 2023.

The Brazilian manufacturer Caloi is not well known in Europe, but it is considered the oldest bicycle brand in Latin America, founded in 1898, and the current leading manufacturer in the same area. Moreover, since 2013 it is part of the same business group as Cannondale, Pon Holdings.

The star of Caloi's XC catalog is the ELITE CARBON FS, a lightweight full suspension MTB adapted to new trends in geometry and capabilities. This model uses a Horst Link rear suspension system that promises better traction and pedaling ability.
