Anatomy of a G.O.A.T will analyze what makes Tadej Pogacar different and showcase unprecedented data on his performance
Eurosport and HBO Max will premiere Anatomy of a G.O.A.T. on November 7, a 45-minute documentary that will attempt to explain the keys to Tadej Pogacar's dominance. The production will feature unprecedented physiological data and testimonies from figures such as Eddy Merckx, Alberto Contador, and Geraint Thomas.
The production will combine new interviews with the Slovenian cyclist with testimonies from people in his circle and sports science specialists. The goal will be to delve into the physical and mental factors that have contributed to making Pogacar one of the great dominators of current cycling.
Unprecedented physiological data and some of the great legends of cycling
Although we have already talked about how the Slovenian talent's Vo2 max could be close to the human limit and he himself leaked his power zones, one of the most interesting aspects of the documentary will be the use of unprecedented data and analysis provided by WHOOP, the company specialized in physiological tracking devices. This information will be used to examine some of the Slovenian's qualities, accompanied by statistics and graphs that will facilitate their interpretation.
