We get inside the SRAM World Cup truck

For years, at every World Cup, both XCO and DH, there has been a SRAM truck in the paddock servicing all the teams and riders who use SRAM and RockShox. This truck covers thousands of kilometres every season and there they service, repair or change any component of the brand, from the smallest screw in the drivetrain to the fork with the longest travel in their catalogue.

The SRAM and RockShox truck and tent becomes a centre of attraction at any World Cup.

This is the SRAM World Cup truck from the inside

Todd Anderson, one of the people who knows the most about the performance of SRAM and RockShox components in competition, has been at the forefront of this official SRAM centre for almost 15 years. Todd's job title is Technical Sports Marketing Specialist, but for all practical purposes he's the one who hears first-hand from mechanics and riders about any problems or compliments they have about their components.

Todd Anderson is the person to look for if you are competing in the World Cup and you have a problem.

Anderson himself opened the doors for us at the last World Cup in Nove Mesto and we were able to discover all that is "hidden" there.

The organisation and cleanliness inside the SRAM truck is more typical of an operating room than of some workshops.

Box with all kinds of metal and organic pads for XCO and DH, also springs and any bolts for calipers.
In the same column, just one drawer below, we find brake calipers, brackets for brakes over 160mm and more screws for these components.
SRAM Level are among the most used by World Cup riders.
Continuing with the brakes section, we come to the brake discs.
The 230 mm disc is not seen in XCO but in the DH World Cup it is quite a good idea.
On the left the pushbuttons for the RockShox Reverb telescopic electronic seatpost, on the right the pushbutton for the Eagle AXS rear derailleur.
Every drawer is a surprise, here are many of the parts you will need to mount a shock absorber
All kinds of springs and pins
Replacement bottles for the RockShox SID Ultimate, another of the star forks at the World Cup.
All types of tools, from the classic torque spanner to the specific one for bottom bracket spindles.
Not much more to add
All hardware and smaller drivetrain parts are in this drawer.
The striking red of the X01 DH crankset
Eagle XX1 500% and new 520% range cassettes
This year SRAM included the copper colour in its XX1 range but rainbow is still the trend at the World Cup.
Rear derailleur, the XX1 AXS is the most demanded one
The SRAM truck can repair anything, and this metal lathe proves that they are ready for everything.
Basic tools for the maintenance of any fork
Chainrings for all legs, from 30 to 40T
Todd's friendliness seems endless, every cyclist and mechanic is greeted with a smile.
The presence of SRAM and RockShox in the World Cup is quite important considering the large number of teams that use their components.
