The most economical version of the Trek Fuel EXe is now available
Trek presents the aluminum version of the Fuel EXe. The electric trail bike comes with 150 mm front and 140 mm rear travel and is equipped with the 50 Nm TQ HPR-50 motor and 360 Wh battery. The American manufacturer has divided this version into three different models, with prices ranging from 5,499 to 7,499 euros.
Trek Fuel EXe is dressed in aluminum for a more affordable price
After the good reception of last year's launch of the Fuel EXe, which we were able to test for several weeks, Trek has introduced the aluminum version of this electric trail bike, which is among the lightest and most powerful e-bikes. Of course, the aluminum subtracts the lightness it enjoys in the carbon version, although it maintains its attributes intact and the price is significantly reduced.
The Trek Fuel EXe aluminum retains the TQ HPR-50 motor —50 Nm, 250 watts— powered by a 360 Wh battery. The philosophy remains that of offering an electric bike with natural assistance and emphasizing a compact and well-designed aesthetic. As for noise, the brand also emphasizes that the bike is "5 times more pleasant and 1.8 times quieter" than other electric bikes.

The screen and geometry also remain the same as in the carbon version, although they explain that they have improved the suspension system; as a good trail comes with 150 mm of travel at the front —although compatible with 160 mm, 575 mm from axle to crown— and another 140 mm at the rear.
One of the parts that varies the most from one model to another within this aluminum version is the drivetrain, with SRAM GX AXS at the top of the range, Shimano XT in the mid-range and Shimano Deore M6100 in the most economical.
On the other hand, it also has 29x2'50" wheels, dropper post and hydraulic disc brakes.
