Tomas Lemoine is planning an insane jump for Red Bull Rampage: here’s how his first attempt went
Tomas Lemoine is preparing one of the most spectacular and risky lines of the Red Bull Rampage 2026. The Frenchman has built a huge jump over a canyon that is already generating a lot of buzz during the training sessions in Utah. In his first attempt, he managed to clear the long stretch, but the violent and narrow landing caused him to be thrown off his bike.
The enormous canyon gap of Tomas Lemoine that could define Rampage 2026
On Thursday, we already saw Robin Goomes making history by achieving her third consecutive victory in the women's Red Bull Rampage, but the competition is not over, and the men were practicing their lines on the same days for Saturday.
The line that Lemoine has prepared stands out for the size of its jumps, but especially for the narrow margin of error that the landings offer. The most striking is a gigantic gap over a ravine that forces the Frenchman to land in a very tight area.
The approach is already intimidating. Lemoine must first face a drop that takes him directly to the canyon jump, with no possibility of stopping once he enters and from that moment on, the only option is to maintain speed and hope the jump goes well.

In the images of his first attempt, it can be seen how the Frenchman manages to clear the enormous gap, but loses control of the bike on landing and is violently thrown off. The narrowness of the terrain and the lack of space to correct the trajectory mean that any small mistake has significant consequences.
Fortunately, Lemoine was able to get up and walk on his own after the fall. For now, no injuries have been reported that would prevent him from participating in the final, although there is also no official medical confirmation about his condition.
Lemoine arrives at this edition after finishing fourth in 2025 and with a proposal that once again demonstrates his unique way of understanding freeride. If he manages to complete this line during the final, his jump over the canyon could become one of the highlights of the competition.
The men's final of the Red Bull Rampage 2026 will take place tomorrow, Saturday, October 10, starting at 6:00 PM (CEST). As always in Rampage, the schedule will be subject to wind and weather conditions.
