The Traka goes global with seven events, live broadcasts and a grand finale in Spain
The international gravel scene will have a new reference circuit in 2027. Klassmark has announced the creation of The Traka World Series, a competition that takes over from the Gravel Earth Series and will bring together seven events across Europe and America, a general classification for men and women, live broadcasts, and a prize system that could reach 84,000 euros.
The Traka World Series bets on a more condensed calendar and a competition with greater following
After four seasons developing the Gravel Earth Series, Klassmark has decided to reorganize its international project around one of the most recognizable gravel brands: The Traka. The result is The Traka World Series 2027, a circuit that aims to provide greater continuity to professional competition and facilitate the following of its main protagonists throughout the season.
The change goes beyond a new name. Unlike the previous model, which connected races from different organizers, the new structure will concentrate the calendar into seven events and strengthen Klassmark's control over the project.

The organization will distinguish three levels: The Traka as the main brand, By The Traka as the name for associated events, and The Traka World Series as the international championship that will group the professional races.
This reorganization will also allow for coexistence between professional and amateur riders. The events will continue to offer different routes and formats, although the competition for the overall will have specific distances and categories.
All races will be available for live viewing and there will be up to 84,000 euros in prizes
One of the main novelties will be the live broadcast of the seven events. Until now, the Gravel Earth Series had provided video coverage of some races, but the new project aims to extend this to the entire calendar.

The organization has not yet detailed the platforms, schedules, or format of these broadcasts. However, the announcement represents a commitment to make the competition a more accessible product for fans, sponsors, and teams.
There will also be a significant change in the monetary prizes. Klassmark has announced an initial allocation of 76,000 euros, distributed as follows:
- 56,000 euros for the seven races, with 8,000 euros per event.
- 20,000 euros for the final overall classification.
- Identical prize distribution between men and women.
However, according to Cyclingnews, the total amount will rise to 84,000 euros thanks to an additional contribution from the sponsor River Products Company, which will double the CORE4 race prizes from 8,000 to 16,000 euros.
The championship will also feature an overall classification for men and women that will allow results to accumulate throughout the season. The 20,000 euros allocated for this classification will be distributed among the top ten in each category.
