Spotted a new and unpublished Specialized Epic 2024

At the Shimano Super Cup Massi Banyoles, some of the best XCO teams and cyclists in the world have come together, and among them we have found the powerful Specialized Factory Racing with what appears to be a new model of Specialized Epic 2024. It would be a new version of the brand's best-known full suspension model, but with several novelties.

Sina Frei is already riding an unprecedented Specialized Epic 2024

It was during the Banyoles training sessions when we saw that under the feet of Swiss cyclist Sina Frei there was a new Specialized model.

In a completely black color and with the new Rock Schox Flight Attendant electronic suspensions, not yet released to the market, it can be appreciated that this model has some important differences compared to the current catalog model.

Sina Frei rides the smallest frame size, but it seems to be a new 120mm Epic, with internal wiring from the handlebars. From the image, we can also see details such as a possible change in geometry, a renewed linkage, or the inclusion of the acclaimed internal SWAT storage system from Specialized, under the bottle cage.

At the moment, we don't have more information than this image, but if a factory team cyclist is already using it in competition, it could be a final model and we will surely have more images soon.
