The SCOTT Endorphin returns 27 years later: The Bike That Started It All
SCOTT wanted to pay tribute to the mountain bike that started it all for the brand. The SCOTT Endorphin revolutionized the sport 27 years ago and did it following the 3 values that still today mark the path of SCOTT: Innovation, Technology and Design. Now SCOTT brings us a new project that reinterprets an Endorphin 2023 and includes prototypes such as a new Syncros integrated handlebar.
SCOTT Endorphin 2023
This was SCOTT's first carbon mountain bike, and in its early days it was so innovative that the brand had a hard time finding manufacturers to support its idea. Its monocoque frame capable of absorbing impacts in a structural way has crossed generations and we can say that even today the new SCOTT Addict RC, Genius, Scale or even the Spark RC have their origin in the Endorphin.

For the last Eurobike 2023, SCOTT wanted to pay tribute to this model by reinterpreting it and presenting it as a project of which it is not yet known if it will ever go into production.
For 2023, the SCOTT design team asked themselves, what would the Endorphin look like today? Taking the original silhouette of the 1997 Endorphin, the frame has been redesigned with today's 3D approach. The tube volumes have been updated and refined thanks to new carbon molding techniques. And the iconic "swingarm" has been reinterpreted. Also included is an updated disc brake set-up, a new, never-before-seen Syncros integrated Y-shaped handlebar and carbon Silverton wheels, among others. Finally, it has been decorated with a retro-futuristic graphic design with details from 1997.
