The fourth lap was when the race suffered the biggest setback with Avancini's fall in a jump that delayed him too much and left the Brazilian touched. At the same time the Swiss Nino Schurter also began to lose many positions due to some mechanical problem.
Victor Koretzky, Mathias Flueckiger, Filipo Colombo, Maxime Marotte or Manuel Fumic were some of those leading the group and relaxed the pace a bit at the beginning of lap six, but still the circuit was getting more and more slippery and any failure caused them to lose or gain positions quickly.
The last lap started with Filippo Colombo in first position and soon the attacks began. The first was Koreztky to which Maxime Marotte responded without any of them managing to leave. The Mexican Gerardo Ulloa surprised everyone in the final stretch to win an intense sprint with Koretzky.
Henrique Avancini entered in position 11 and Schurter in position 29.
