Look 785 Huez: a climber made with carbon nanotubes
The French brand updates its most climbing bike. The Look 757 Huez with the use of a higher level carbon, which has nanotube structure that allows to minimize the amount of material used and, therefore, reduce the weight of the bike without compromising its dynamic qualities.
The most advanced carbon arrives at the Look 785 Huez
New generation of the Look 785 Huez, the climbing option from the well-known French brand. Without major changes in the bike's structure, modifications are included in the material used for its manufacturing: carbon fiber with nanotube structure that makes it much more resistant. This, together with improvements in the lamination, makes it possible to minimize the thickness of the tubes, resulting in weight savings.
Like all top-level bikes manufactured today, the Look 785 Huez has a specific lamination for each size to achieve an optimal and identical weight/stiffness ratio in all sizes, guaranteeing the best power transfer without sacrificing a sufficient level of absorption to face the longest days on the saddle.

We also find changes in this Look 785 Huez with the incorporation of a T47 bottom bracket instead of the proprietary system that the French brand was using, so now the user benefits from the use of a system that has been postulated as one of the preferred standards by manufacturers in recent seasons compared to the pressed bottom brackets that have been used in the last decade.
The Look 785 Huez also bets on versatility, allowing for a tire clearance of up to 32 mm to tackle any climb regardless of the road conditions.
"The latest version of the 785 Huez offers cyclists the best overall performance for long days in the mountains and has been designed for explosive accelerations on any slope, offering cyclists an unparalleled riding experience for long days on the saddle. With its lightweight construction and cutting-edge carbon technology, we believe that the 785 Huez will allow passionate cyclists to achieve personal goals by tackling the biggest climbs in the cycling world," said Romain Simon, Look's product manager, after the presentation of this bike.
A bike that, as is customary in Look, is only marketed as a frame kit, a kit that has a weight of 980 g for the frame and 390 g for the fork, and a price of €2,490.
