Jordan Sarrou's Specialized Epic S-Works for 2022
In 2021 he was unable to retain his World Championship title, but Frenchman Jordan Sarrou is still one of the best mountain bikers and the proof of this was the collection of podiums he achieved in the World Cup last season and the great victory he took at the last Absa Cape-Epic. This year, Specialized Factory Racing has been reinforced with the arrival of Blevins and Batten and its bikes also have new colours. This is the Epic S-Works with which Sarrou will compete in 2022.
Jordan Sarrou's Epic S-Works for 2022 in detail
Red, as it could not be otherwise, continues to be the protagonist of the Specialized Factory Racing Team, and although the aesthetics of the bike is very reminiscent of last season, the truth is that it is not the same. All the paintwork on the frame is water-effect and combines the colours red, black and silver. The fork is also customised in the same colours.

As for the set-up, we found practically the same ones that we could see when we had the opportunity to get close to the bike with which Sarrou won the Cape Epic 2021. The frame that Specialized debuted in 2020 continues to stand out, along with the new Brain system, which automatically controls both the fork and the rear shock and is one of the Specialized flagships.
At first glance, only the crankset is different from the Epic that Sarrou rode last season. He now rides the QUARQ XX1 Eagle Power Meter that SRAM has available in its catalogue instead of the eternal BlackBox prototype that is still under development.
If you're curious, here's the whole story of Specialized's exclusive BRAIN system and just below you can see the complete bike assembly.
