INEOS Grenadiers unveils a new Pinarello Dogma F in competition
Although the new Trek being used by Lidl-Trek is attracting attention, the Critérium du Dauphiné is also serving as a testing ground for the INEOS Grenadiers ahead of the Tour. These days, they are testing a new evolution of their Pinarello Dogma F in competition, following the trend of their competitors towards greater aerodynamic capabilities without sacrificing climbing abilities.
The Pinarello Dogma F is also being renewed for the Tour de France
For many years now, the Tour de France has become the chosen moment of the season for many brands to showcase their new bicycles. However, the need to test the equipment in competition before such an important event as the Tour means that teams start using their new bikes in the Critérium du Dauphiné, the most important race leading up to the French tour.

This is precisely what Pinarello has done in this race, equipping INEOS Grenadiers with the new Dogma F that shows subtle but evident differences from the model currently available in stores.
The new Pinarello Dogma F has delved deeper, as has been required in recent times, into aerodynamics, which is evident in a deeper head tube, as well as in the rear part of the seat tube, which gains longitudinal section near the seatpost clamp.
The design of the dropouts is also interesting, as the side where the thru-axle is anchored is blind towards the outside to scrape off some grams of aerodynamic resistance, fitting perfectly into the asymmetric design that Pinarello popularized and that, over the years, practically all brands take into account when designing the carbon layup of their frames. Finally, the monolithic bottom bracket is particularly striking, where the seat tube and downtube practically merge with rounded shapes, a solution that will have a dual purpose: being aerodynamic and, surely, increasing the lateral stiffness of the frame.
However, despite deepening these aerodynamic evolutions, Pinarello has maintained the same philosophy for years. They have never had a purely aero bike or a purely climbing bike, but have been one of the few brands that did not follow this trend, opting for versatile frames where lightness, stiffness, comfort, and aerodynamics evolved together, which may now give them a certain advantage as the trend towards aerolight bikes aims to achieve just that.
