New Giant Revolt X gravel bike with front suspension
Several stores filter a new version of Giant's gravel bike equipped with the suspension fork models specific for this modality, a bike designed to look for the wilder side of gravel thanks to its tremendous wheel arches and the addition of a dropper post in its setup.
Revolt X, Giant's most radical gravel
The unannounced appearance of a new model of gravel bike on the websites of some Australian shops has caused a sensation among those who follow the daily life of this modality, in view of what seems to be an oversight on the part of the managers of these websites, but which serves to anticipate the new models that the Taiwanese firm intends to include in its catalogue.
The model, called Revolt X to differentiate it from the current Revolt model, at first glance maintains the same design lines of its frame although, obviously, its geometry has had to be adapted to accommodate the main novelty of its set-up, the inclusion of the suspension fork.

Two setups were published on the aforementioned websites: Revolt X Advanced Pro 0, equipped with the Fox Float 32 AX Performance fork, and Revolt X Advanced Pro 0, a more economical option where the front end was occupied by the Rock Shox Rudy XPLR fork.
It is striking in the images of the leaked bikes that instead of the usual D-Fuse seatpost with a D-shaped section for maximum aboard capacity, these bikes have a round seatpost, opting for a dropper post model signed by Giant itself.
Like the Revolt we already know, this new Giant Revolt X has big wheel arches capable of accommodating up to 53mm tyres, which together with the suspension make it practically a mountain bike capable of taking on the roughest terrain.
This new model also retains the Flip-Chip adjustable rear toe, which allows the wheelbase to be varied by a few millimetres for more agile or more stable handling, depending on whether the shorter or longer option is chosen.
In any case, it is not known when this bike will be officially presented, although it should not be too late when there are already defined models. It should also be taken into account that Giant gives a lot of freedom to its national distributors when it comes to defining the ranges and setups, so even if the brand presents this model soon, it is unknown if it will become part of the catalogue in our country.
