Santa Cruz co-founder surrenders to Unno Mith: "Every other bike manufacturer should be sweating…"
Former professional skater Rob Roskopp was a founding member of Santa Cruz Bycicles and until now was one of the important people in the company, even after it was acquired by the Pon Holdings group of companies in 2015. But a recent post on social media could announce his separation from Santa Cruz while confessing to being an absolute admirer of the new Unno Mith, the Spanish firm's first electric Enduro.
Rob Roskopp surrenders to Unno Mith
It’s a New Year and on to better things! I’ve ridden many e-bikes over the last 5 years, but the Unno Mith takes the cake! Great suspension (thanks Jordi), and the best handling bike I’ve ever ridden, turns on a dime. Cesar Rojo and his team have created a masterpiece! Every other bike manufacturer should be sweating…
The Unno MITH, formerly known as BOOS, was presented in 2022 as the first electric bike from UNNO, the Catalan brand led by César Rojo. An E-Enduro radically different from the rest but with the unique style of the brand.

Roskopp is not the first to place this model as one of the best in its range, but the truth is that his comment also seemed to announce Rob's separation from Santa Cruz. This has been confirmed by the Pinkbike website, which also denied that the Californian was collaborating with UNNO, at least for the time being.
