The team has decided to dress in green to commemorate the bronze that Carlos Coloma won at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The medal was a crucial turning point for the birth of the team and the rest of the projects that followed. The design pays a heartfelt tribute to the colors and symbols of the Brazilian flag.
Carlos Coloma's name became forever linked to Rio 2016 when he won the bronze medal. On a sporting level, that milestone was the icing on the cake of the career of one of the best Spanish riders of all time, but it also planted a seed that eventually grew into two top-level structures -BH Coloma Team and La Nucía BH Coloma Academy- and several training schools where more than 300 children learn today.
Brazil is a special place for the team and the 2024 World Cup will start full of emotions, memories, and symbolism. In tribute to all this, the team will change their usual attire for a kit inspired by the country's flag during training sessions.
The chosen jersey is colorful with an intense green that combines with several black areas and is finished with the Brazilian circle and diamond on the abdomen and back.
The kit also aims to remember the successes achieved by those who have defended the team's jersey and acknowledge Brazil's efforts to promote MTB.
