Automatic brake light, rear radar and 20 hours of battery life: meet the new Lezyne Radar Pro 300
Lezyne has renewed its rear radar proposal for cycling with the new Radar Pro 300, a powerful rear light that automatically activates when we brake and has vehicle detection. This model comes with a more compact design, connectivity with cycle computers, and a maximum autonomy of 24 hours.
Lezyne Radar Pro 300, a radar that also alerts when you brake
Rear radars have become one of the most recommended safety accessories for any cyclist riding on the road. Their ability to detect vehicles approaching from behind allows for anticipating traffic situations without the need to constantly look back.

In this segment, Lezyne has been developing its own Radar React system for some time and now presents an evolution that is capable of detecting when the cyclist slows down to automatically increase the intensity of its rear light, just like cars or motorcycles do to alert those behind.

This function does not require any controls to be activated. The device identifies the reduction in speed and modifies its lighting to warn drivers behind. Additionally, it can also activate flashes when it detects approaching vehicles.
The radar maintains a detection range of up to 150 meters, a distance that allows receiving information about traffic coming from behind before it reaches the cyclist.
Up to 300 lumens and connectivity with cycle computers
The lighting is another strong point of the new model. Lezyne has incorporated a redesigned optics and seven operating modes, including a daytime flash mode that reaches 300 lumens.
The goal is to provide good visibility even during the brightest hours, when a conventional rear light may go unnoticed.

Regarding connectivity, the Radar Pro 300 features Bluetooth and ANT+, allowing it to transmit alerts to compatible cycle computers. It also works with Lezyne's Radar Ally app, which displays visual and audible alerts of detected vehicles.
The app also allows modifying lighting modes and customizing the behavior of connected lights.
Another possibility is to use the radar alongside the front light Lezyne React Drive, which can show visual alerts of approaching vehicles without the need to have a cycle computer on the handlebars.

A replaceable battery and up to 24 hours of operation
Lezyne has taken advantage of this new generation to also revise the format of the device. Its composite housing is more compact and the whole unit weighs 94 grams without the mount, with dimensions of 36.4 × 38 × 77.9 mm.
One of the practical innovations is the quarter-turn mounting system, which makes it easier to mount and remove the radar. The brand includes adapters for round, D-profile, and aerodynamic seat posts, a solution especially useful for current road bikes.

Inside, we find a 2,000 mAh battery with USB-C charging. Lezyne announces a maximum autonomy of 24 hours, although this figure corresponds to the exclusive operation of the radar, without lighting. In conventional flash mode, it can last up to 20 hours, while consumption varies depending on the intensity and mode chosen.
The battery is also designed to be replaceable, following the requirements of European battery regulations.
The unit has IPX7 water protection, making it ready to withstand rain during rides.
