Vlad Dascalu will compete with Trek Factory Racing for the next few seasons
The Romanian cyclist, based in Spain, has just announced that his team for the coming seasons will be one of the most powerful in the World Cup: Trek Factory Racing.
Without a doubt this is great news for both parties in which the team receives one of the most exciting names in the coming seasons, while for Vlad it is a great leap forward to be part of an official factory team for the first time.
Dascalu will share the team with current Olympic champion Jolanda Neff, reigning world champion Evie Richards and New Zealand champion Anton Cooper.

Vlad Dascalu was World, European and overall World Cup champion in the under-23 category a couple of seasons ago. And after a transitional 2020, in 2021 he has already been able to break into the Elite World Cup podium and even dispute the victory in the last Snowshoe race, along with Nino Schurter and Christopher Blevins.
Vlad will continue to race with the Trek Supercaliber that he has been using for the last two years, although he will have a different set-up with the usual SRAM and RockShox components from the factory Trek team.
