The women's race left a historic victory for Italian cycling. Martina Berta triumphed in front of her home crowd after taking the lead midway through the race and holding off Savilia Blunk's comeback attempt in the final laps. Laura Stigger completed the podium, while Jenny Rissveds finished fourth on a day when she could not maintain the dominance shown in recent races.
In the men's race, Luca Martin once again demonstrated why he is the leader of the World Cup. After several laps riding at the front alongside Mathis Azzaro and Adrien Boichis, the Frenchman launched a decisive attack in the final part of the race and quickly opened a gap that allowed him to secure his second consecutive victory in XCO.
