UNNO MITH: disruptive, advanced and aggressive

UNNO Bikes has just introduced its first electric bicycle. The UNNO MITH is an enduro e-MTB faithful to the company's philosophy and that will not leave anyone indifferent. The brand's own definition seems to us the most accurate to describe it: disruptive, advanced and aggressive.

UNNO MITH

At the beginning of the year, we received the news that the car manufacturer Cupra had asked UNNO to design an e-bike for its brand, something that takes on a new meaning when checking that the UNNO MITH looks a lot like that design proposed by UNNO for Cupra.

The Barcelona brand has taken four years to develop this UNNO MITH, an e-MTB that is easier to categorize if we focus on its specifications without being overshadowed by its aesthetics. Double suspension frame (virtual pivot) made of carbon fiber, mullet wheels (27.5" rear and 29" front), 160/170 mm travel and Bosch CX Gen 4 motor with a 750 Wh battery. Looking at its features, it is easy to affirm that we are facing an e-MTB for Enduro.

Its aesthetics manage to be very disruptive with a very thin top tube and with a lot of sloping, almost parallel to the diagonal tube, combined with a completely isolated vertical tube and a very compact rear triangle. Very new lines in the segment, but that emanate the style of UNNO.

Geometry and frame of the UNNO MITH

Behind the design of the UNNO MITH we find César Rojo, founder of the brand, and he assures that with this e-MTB they have found the perfect balance between stability and maneuverability.

The UNNO MITH fits well in the current enduro trend with a 64° angle for its head tube and 77° for the seat tube. The reach ranges from 435 to 510 mm depending on the size, and the 450 mm chainstays are a guarantee of stability that combines well with the agile 27.5" rear wheel.

As we have already advanced, the monocoque carbon fiber frame offers 160 mm of travel at the rear with a 170 mm fork at the front. And all the plastic parts, and the protections, have been made from recycled plastic collected from the ocean, in collaboration with Oceanworks.

In the frame, double bearings are used to increase the rigidity that offers more solid driving sensations.

In the electrical part we find a Bosch CX Gen 4 motor with a 750 Wh battery, a very contrasted option that leaves the set at about 22.6 kg of weight for the S2 size. According to the brand, the UNNO BOOS becomes one of the lightest e-MTBs on the market equipped with Bosch.

UNNO MITH: prices, specifications and availability

For now, the UNNO MITH will be available online and in selected stores only in size S and Race finish for a price of 9,995€. But the brand will expand the stock and options in the coming months.
