Unno IKKI, the first lightweight electric model from the brand arrives: information, models and prices

Unno presents its first lightweight electric: an enduro named IKKI. The firm bets on 170 mm suspensions at the front and 160 mm at the rear, mullet wheels and its usual groundbreaking design. The electric assistance has been entrusted to the reputable TQ HPR50 motor and a 360 Wh battery. The range consists of two models and starts from 10,295 euros.

Unno is back in action: the IKKI arrives as the brand's first lightweight electric

Unno continues to move forward and, despite still being in the youth of its days, occasionally steps on the accelerator to launch a new creation. The huge e-bike wave has also reached the manufacturer's facilities in Barcelona and a year and a half ago it presented the Mith -first electric-, now it's the turn of the IKKI -first lightweight electric-.

The Barcelona-based firm has opted for a concept that reminds of other flagships of the brand. In fact, Unno defines the IKKI as the electric version of the Burn, while at the same time it shares geometry and kinematics with the Mith.

The goal has been to design a lightweight bike with aggressive character, which translates into an enduro that aims to shine on descents. Unno has decided to equip the IKKI with suspensions with travel of 170 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear.

The electric part has been entrusted to the TQ HPR50 motor -which stands out for offering good performance while being quiet and compact- of 50 Nm and a power of 300 W. On the other hand, the battery is 360 Wh and it is possible to incorporate a 160 Wh extender to increase storage to 520 Wh.

In total, the motor and the battery -without counting the extender- weigh 3.9 kilos.

The IKKI presents a aesthetic that does not adhere to conventions and in which the groundbreaking spirit that Unno imprints on its bikes runs through its tubes; the huge sloping, the mullet wheels and a design that makes it look like a non-electric bicycle are some of the main responsible.

As for the geometry -which it shares with the Mith-, it has a steering angle of 64°, seat tube angle of 77°, chainstays of 450mm, stack of 640 mm and reach of 470 mm. The measurements correspond to the medium size, which is named S2.

The range has two initial models. First, the IKKI Factory has Fox Factory suspensions, SRAM XX AXS T-type transmission and DT Swiss HXC 1501 wheels. Second, the IKKI Race has the same suspensions but SRAM GX AXS T-Type transmission and DT Swiss 1700 wheels.

In addition, both models offer virtual pivot system, seatpost diameter of 31.6 mm, internal wiring and integrated screen.
