Transform your Specialized Levo into a completely new bike with the new Levo X racks
The arrival of the new S-Works Levo 4 X has captured a lot of attention due to its "Electric Overland" approach, but perhaps the most important novelty presented by Specialized is not the complete bike. The real revolution lies in the new racks capable of transforming any latest generation Levo into a much more versatile machine.
The new Levo X Racks allow adding up to 22 kg of load to any Levo 4, EVO, or Levo R
We are talking about the new Levo X Racks, a front and rear rack system developed specifically for the Levo platform, which will be available separately so that current owners can expand the capabilities of their bike without needing to change models.

An update that completely changes the use of the bike
The idea behind these new racks is to turn a high-performance e-MTB into a bike capable of tackling much more than just a trail outing.

With them, Specialized proposes new uses for the Levo such as:
- Bikepacking and multi-day adventures
- Daily commuting to work
- Trail maintenance
- Transporting tools and equipment
- Fishing or surfing trips
- Everyday shopping and errands
- Weekend trips and getaways
All of this without sacrificing the dynamic behavior of a true mountain bike.
Compatible with the entire new Levo family
One of the most interesting aspects is that the Levo X Racks are not reserved for the new S-Works Levo 4 X.
Specialized has confirmed their compatibility with:
- Specialized Levo 4
- Specialized Levo 4 EVO
- Specialized Levo R
This means that any user of these platforms will be able to upgrade their bike with the new racks and access the "Electric Overland" concept without needing to invest in a completely new bike.
The brand itself considers this compatibility to be one of the keys to the launch, as it multiplies the usage possibilities of bikes that are already in circulation.
Up to 22 kg of load capacity
The system consists of two independent elements that can be used together.
The front rack attaches to the head tube area and offers a maximum load capacity of 10 kg.

Additionally, it incorporates two bottle cage mounting points, which further expands the transport possibilities for long trips or adventure routes.
The rear rack provides an additional capacity of 12 kg.

Its main feature is compatibility with the MIK three-pin system, a widely used interface in bags, baskets, and transport accessories that allows for quick and secure mounting and dismounting of luggage.
By combining both accessories, the bike can carry up to 22 kg of load, a very high figure for a trail-oriented e-MTB.
Designed not to compromise the bike's performance
Specialized emphasizes that these are not conventional racks adapted to a mountain bike.
According to the brand, the system has been specifically designed to maintain the characteristic ride quality of the Levo.
The front rack aims to prevent the load from interfering with the suspension's operation, while the rear rack transmits forces directly to the frame to minimize unwanted movements when the terrain gets tough.
The goal is for the bike to continue behaving like a Levo even when fully loaded.
Prices and availability
The new accessories will hit the market this summer and will be available for purchase separately, with the official prices announced by Specialized being:
- Levo X Front Rack: 199 €
- Levo X Rear Rack: 399 €
Although they can be installed individually, the system is clearly designed to function as a set capable of radically expanding the bike's load capacity.
While many innovations in the sector require changing bikes to access new functionalities, Specialized has opted for a different strategy. With the Levo X Racks, any owner of a Levo 4, Levo 4 EVO, or Levo R can convert their e-MTB into an adventure, transport, or bikepacking bike for a fraction of the cost of a new bike.
