The SCOTT SRAM team unveils its new kit, shoes, and helmets

SCOTT has unveiled its new RC 2027 collection, a proposal that brings together some of the most advanced products from its road and MTB catalog under a common image focused on performance and competition. Additionally, the range introduces new helmet and shoe models, as well as gloves and technical gear developed for cyclists seeking the highest level of performance in both training and competition.

The collection, which will likely be used by SCOTT SRAM alongside the new SCOTT Spark   adopts a very recognizable aesthetic based on the combination of white and fluorescent yellow, an image that will be present in the main RC products of the 2027 season.

One of the major innovations is the renewal of the MTB RC Ultimate, SCOTT's most exclusive mountain model. These shoes have been completely redesigned in their upper, complemented by the BOA Fit System to ensure a precise fit and maximum power transfer while pedaling.    

The sole has a stiffness index of 10, and its tread has been simplified to save weight while ensuring traction in case of walking.

Two RC helmets to cover all competition needs

Among the highlights of the collection are the Centric RC MIPS and Cadence RC MIPS helmets, two models already established within the SCOTT range but updated to remain the brand's reference for competitive use.  

Both models feature the MIPS protection system, designed to reduce the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during oblique impacts. They also include a specific goggle holder (Centric RC only) and features designed to maximize aerodynamic performance.  

Additionally, the collection highlights the incorporation of the new BOA FS2 adjustment system, which allows for quick and precise micro-adjustments via a multidirectional dial.

The brand's official riders may already be competing in the new SCOTT Centric RC MIPS, but it won't go on sale until early 2027.  

RC ULTD Aero and RC Pro Jerseys

In the textile section, the new RC 2027 collection revolves around two high-performance jerseys.

On one hand, there is the RC ULTD Aero Short-Sleeve Jersey, the option most focused on aerodynamic performance, developed to minimize drag and optimize efficiency on the bike. This model incorporates Kinetech fabrics, specifically designed for high-intensity aerobic sports.    

The collection also includes the RC Pro Short-Sleeve Jersey, an alternative aimed at those seeking competition performance combined with greater versatility of use.  

Both use technologies such as DRYOxcell, designed to accelerate moisture evacuation and promote quick drying, and DUROxpand, a four-way stretch fabric that enhances freedom of movement on the bike.  

Two bib shorts for different types of effort

SCOTT structures its RC bib shorts offering around two differentiated proposals.

The RC Pro Bib Short uses the Pro Padding chamois, characterized by a multidirectional construction designed to improve stability on the saddle. The high-density foam, along with surface perforations and X-Tract fabric, aims to increase breathability and comfort during prolonged efforts.    

Above it is the ULTD Aero Bib Short, equipped with the Ultra Padding chamois, developed for the longest days. This incorporates two densities of foam and a top layer with graphene fabric designed to improve cooling, comfort, and drying capacity.    

The new RC 2027 image also extends to the RC Pro Long-Finger Gloves, long gloves aimed at sports use and available in the same color combination as the collection.
