The Red Bull Rampage is celebrating its 25th anniversary and already has dates for 2026

Red Bull has confirmed the dates for the 2026 edition of the Red Bull Rampage, the most prestigious and spectacular freeride event. The event will return to the iconic desert cliffs of Virgin (Utah, United States) and will do so maintaining the recently introduced format with separate competitions for women and men.

The women's competition will take place on Thursday, October 8, while the men's event will be held on Saturday, October 10. It will be a very special edition, as the Rampage celebrates 25 years since its creation and will reach its 20th edition, after the event was not held for several seasons throughout its history.

A quarter of a century redefining freeride

Since its debut in 2001, Red Bull Rampage has become the absolute reference for freeride. What started as a competition where a small group of riders descended the mountains of the Utah desert designing their own lines has turned into one of the most influential events in all of mountain biking.

One of its great hallmarks remains intact, and each participant must design and build their own course on the mountain, seeking the perfect combination of technical difficulty, creativity, flow, and big jumps. This freedom to interpret the terrain has made the Rampage the stage where year after year the limits of the sport are expanded.

The event has crowned 11 different winners over its 19 editions held and has marked some of the most iconic moments in MTB history.

No participant list at the moment

For now, the organization has not yet announced the invited riders for the 2026 edition. As usual, the final list will be known in the coming weeks.

The women's competition will continue to be part of the program following its incorporation in 2024. That year, eight invited participants took part, a number that increased to twelve in 2025, definitively consolidating the presence of women in the event.

The 2025 champions will defend their throne

The 2025 edition left two names for the history books. In the men's competition, Canadian Hayden Zablotny surprised the world by conquering the Rampage in his first participation, becoming one of the most successful debutants in the event's history.

In the women's category, New Zealander Robin Goomes achieved her second consecutive victory, confirming her status as the leading figure in women's freeride after a spectacular run that included two backflips.

Tickets and broadcast

Tickets to attend the Red Bull Rampage 2026 will go on sale on August 26 through the official event website. On the same day, access for both the women's and men's competitions will be available for purchase.

The broadcast will again be live through Red Bull TV and the Red Bull Bike channel on YouTube.
