The new Megamo Along breaks the limits of e-gravel: racing design, 130 Nm, 600 Wh, and a frame weighing 1,300 g
Megamo expands its electric offensive with the new Along, a completely new e-gravel platform that shares the powerful Avinox system and arrives with arguments to position itself among the market references since its launch.
Megamo Along: this is the new e-gravel with Avinox motor that aims to become the reference in the segment
The bet is not casual. Gravel is a modality in which Megamo has been building one of the most solid and recognizable ranges in the sector for years. Models like the successful Jakar, the versatile West, or the more competitive Silk have become common in both races and adventure routes around the world. With that background, it would not be surprising if this new Along follows the same path and ends up becoming one of the most seen models in the e-gravel segment.

Megamo Along: an e-gravel developed from scratch to go further
The new Along is born with a very clear philosophy: to eliminate the boundaries between road, fast tracks, broken paths, and multi-day routes. To achieve this, it uses a completely new platform built around a carbon frame weighing only 1300 grams and the Avinox electric system.

Megamo has designed the Along with the real use of modern gravel in mind, where a single outing can combine asphalt, compact tracks, simple trails, and long bikepacking links. Therefore, the entire geometry has been developed around 50 mm tires, a figure that the brand considers essential to offer the expected performance.
In the higher models, we also find complete cable integration and a carbon monocoque cockpit that improves aerodynamics and provides a particularly clean aesthetic.
The Avinox system arrives in gravel with up to 130 Nm and 1,300 W
Undoubtedly, one of the major arguments of the Along is the incorporation of the Avinox M2S and M2 system, currently the most powerful used in high-performance lightweight electric bicycles.

The range is divided into two electric configurations:
Avinox M2S
- 130 Nm of maximum torque
- 1,300 W of peak power
- Models Along 01, Along 03 CW, and Along 03
Avinox M2
- 110 Nm of maximum torque
- 1,100 W of peak power
- Models Along 10 and Along Flatbar

All models use a 600 Wh integrated Avinox battery and the integrated DPC100 display in the frame.

Just like in the Upon road bike, Megamo has worked on a specific calibration for gravel. The system offers three main assistance modes:
- Eco, designed to maximize autonomy.
- Trail, with a progressive response adapted to tracks and mixed terrains.
- Boost, designed for very demanding climbs or loaded configurations for bikepacking.

Additionally, all parameters can be customized from the Avinox app.

SRAM XPLR as the protagonist of the range
Megamo has clearly bet on the new generation SRAM XPLR 13-speed in its most advanced models.
The Along 01, 03 CW, and 03 feature Force XPLR AXS or Rival XPLR AXS transmissions, taking advantage of the benefits of the 13-speed single chainring architecture, the wide range of developments 10-44, and the wireless AXS shifting.

The brand believes that XPLR fits especially well with a high-performance e-gravel due to its mechanical simplicity, the absence of additional cabling, and the rear derailleur's ability to keep the chain stable even under the high torque levels generated by the Avinox motor.
Meanwhile, the more affordable models use Shimano GRX and Shimano Deore 12-speed groups.

Specific geometry for gravel and 50 mm tires
Although it shares many technological elements with the new Upon, the Along uses a clearly differentiated geometry.

Megamo has sought a more comfortable position for long distances, maintaining good pedaling efficiency but with greater stability on uneven surfaces. To achieve this, it employs:
- Balanced reach and stack for a more relaxed position.
- 435 mm chainstays in all sizes.
- Steering angle between 70.8° and 71°.
- Wheel clearance for 50 mm tires with additional space for mud.

The bike is available in sizes S, M, L, and XL. The size recommended by the brand according to the cyclist's height is: S = 160–170 cm · M = 168–178 cm · L = 176–186 cm · XL = 184 cm+.

Wheels and tires ready for any terrain
The entire range is equipped with Vittoria Terreno T50 Mixed 50 mm tires, regardless of the build level.
The higher models incorporate Vision TC45 i30 carbon wheels with a 45 mm profile and 30 mm internal width, while the rest of the range uses Megamo All Road aluminum wheels.
According to the brand, the goal has been to maintain a consistent riding experience across the range, mainly differentiating the quality and weight of the components.

With this new Along, Megamo fully enters one of the fastest-growing segments in the market. And it does so by combining a gravel-specific carbon platform, the most powerful Avinox system in the category, and a price range starting below €4,000. A recipe that, given the previous success of models like the Jakar, West, or Silk, has a strong chance of becoming one of the references in electric gravel in the coming years.
