The Karoo makes the leap to total control of Flight Attendant
The Hammerhead Karoo takes a key step in the integration of the SRAM system and now integrates and communicates directly with the RockShox Flight Attendant suspensions. Now, this cycling computer is capable of interpreting and managing the RockShox electronic suspension in real time.
The Hammerhead Karoo integrates with Flight Attendant and turns suspension into another data point on the route
Until now, systems like Flight Attendant operated in the background. They automatically adjusted the suspension based on the terrain and pedaling, but the cyclist had little real visibility of what was happening at any moment.

With this update, the Karoo 3 now displays real-time information on the system's behavior on the screen. The user can see the active mode, the changes occurring during the ride, and the battery status, without taking their eyes off the terrain.
This continuous visualization introduces a new level of reading the bike. Not only are power, heart rate, or speed recorded, but now it is also possible to interpret how the suspension is working on each segment.
The significant leap is not just in the data. The Karoo also allows direct interaction with Flight Attendant.
From the device itself, key parameters of the system can be modified without resorting to the AXS app. This includes adjustments such as bias or low-speed compression on the fork and shock, as well as accessing advanced operating modes of the system.

This completely changes the flow of use. Adjusting the suspension is no longer something done before heading out or from the mobile device. Now it is integrated into the very dynamics of the ride.
The integration reinforces the role of the Karoo as the control center of the SRAM ecosystem. The suspension joins the transmission, sensors, or dropper post as connected elements that can be managed from a single interface.
The device allows the addition of specific fields related to Flight Attendant in any usage profile. These include fork and shock position, number of state changes, or system effort level, significantly expanding the amount of information available during the ride.
But the analysis doesn't end when getting off the bike. All this data is recorded and can be reviewed later on the Hammerhead panel, opening the door to interpret the behavior of the suspension with a precision that did not exist before.
Hammerhead launched this generation of the Karoo in 2024 and since then its evolution has been constant. The improvements in autonomy through software, the arrival of features like Karoo Share to share routes, and now the integration with Flight Attendant reinforce a clear idea. It is not a static device, but a platform in continuous development. For SRAM, the Karoo is no longer just a GPS; it is the center from which its entire ecosystem is articulated.
