The COROS DURA 2 SOLAR is now available, while the original DURA is discontinued

COROS has begun marketing its new GPS cycling computer DURA 2 SOLAR and, coinciding with its arrival in stores, has confirmed that the first generation will cease production. The new model thus takes over definitively within the brand's catalog.

The first COROS DURA bids farewell to the market

The COROS DURA 2 SOLAR is now available for purchase. After its presentation last October, the company has announced the official start of sales of its new cycling computer, available from 499 euros without a mount and for 549 euros with the standard aluminum mount.

The commercial availability comes alongside another important novelty. As can already be seen in its catalog, the original DURA has been discontinued and will cease production, making the second generation its definitive replacement.

The original DURA arrived in 2024 as COROS's first GPS cycling computer and stood out particularly for its autonomy and its price of 289 euros. Now, just two years later, the brand has decided to concentrate its offering on the new generation.

This also represents a significant change in the entry price to the range. The DURA 2 SOLAR starts at 499 euros in Spain.

The withdrawal of the first generation does not mean that existing devices will stop receiving support or updates, although COROS has not specified for how long they will continue to maintain them.
