The best of Lenzerheide in video: Rissveds dominated and Martin won after Boichis' fall
Lenzerheide once again offered a spectacular XCO weekend with two elite races that were thrilling until the end, at least in the men's race. Attacks, comebacks, falls, individual displays, and emotionally charged finishes marked one of the most anticipated events of the season. Here we leave you with the summary videos of the day.
The best summary of the XCO World Cup in Lenzerheide
The women's race had a great protagonist in Jenny Rissveds. The Swede once again demonstrated that she is in exceptional form and achieved her second consecutive victory in the World Cup after launching a devastating attack in the second lap and heading solo towards the finish line. Behind her, Ronja Blöchlinger shone in front of her home crowd with a solid second place, while Savilia Blunk completed the podium after coming back despite suffering a flat tire during the race. The epic story of Alessandra Keller was also present, who made a spectacular comeback after a hard fall in the first lap.
The men's race was even more dramatic. Adrien Boichis and Luca Martin offered a true generational duel for over an hour, eliminating all their rivals one by one until they were left alone at the front. Everything seemed set for a direct confrontation between the two in the final lap, but an unexpected fall from Boichis while leading changed the outcome. Martin seized the opportunity to take the victory, while Bjorn Riley completed the podium after another outstanding performance.
