The 4 different SCOTT Spark bikes of the SCOTT SRAM team for 2025
The 2025 season of the XCO World Cup kicks off in Araxá, Brazil, and the SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing team is already attracting attention even before the competition begins. Although the team will not be complete - young American talent Bjorn Riley is not traveling to Brazil due to illness - his teammates Emilly Johnston, Nino Schurter, Filippo Colombo, and Andri Frischknecht will be there, all aboard the spectacular SCOTT Spark 2025, which will have at least four different designs this season.
At least four different SCOTT Spark for SCOTT-SRAM in 2025
Despite his absence, the SCOTT Spark of Bjorn Riley deserves special mention. The new talent of the team has not only debuted a design that pays homage to the US National Champion jersey but he himself has painted part of his frame. Riley, in addition to being a biker, is passionate about art, and has left his personal mark on a Spark that mixes creativity, identity, and patriotism.

Canadian Emilly Johnston, another new signing for the team in 2025, will race in Araxá with a customized white and orange SCOTT Spark Contessa. It is currently unknown if this exclusive design will be available to the public or if it will be a limited edition for the cyclist, but it certainly marks a distinctive and visually striking aesthetic for her debut in the elite with SCOTT-SRAM.

Swiss Filippo Colombo, XCO National Champion of his country, will also debut an exclusive design that proudly reflects his flag: a combination in red and black that fits perfectly with his Swiss champion jersey.

Nino Schurter and Andri Frischknecht will share what is probably the most recognized design of the team: Carbon Black. This aesthetic was chosen by Schurter in his victory in Val di Sole 2024, and has since remained as part of the official SCOTT catalog. Subtle, elegant, and 100% competitive, this Spark is already a modern icon of XCO.

All team members ride the redesigned SCOTT Spark 2025 frame that was introduced just a few months ago with more central space to integrate the new RockShox Flight Attendant shock. And although configurations vary according to each rider's style and preferences, there are several common points such as the SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS 12v transmission group, RockShox SID Ultimate suspensions with Flight Attendant technology, the new SRAM Motive brakes, Maxxis tires, and Syncros Silverton wheels.
Although they have started strong, with 4 different designs, surely during the season the team will surprise us with new colors and designs of the iconic SCOTT Spark.
