Tesla's first bike is not what you expect: it is already sold out in the U.S.
For years, Tesla followers have speculated about the possibility of Elon Musk's brand jumping into electric bicycles. And the logic, after the company has revolutionized the electric car market, speculated about an eBike. However, the first model that Tesla has just launched has surprised everyone because it has no motor, no battery, and is not designed for adults.

Tesla already has a bicycle, but it’s not the eBike you imagined
Its debut in the cycling world comes with a pedal-less bike for children aged 2 to 5 years, a product much more modest than many expected, but which has already sparked enormous interest in the United States.
Far from a futuristic eBike, the new Tesla Balance Bike for Kids features a magnesium alloy frame with very defined lines that resemble other products from the brand, especially the Cybertruck.

The bicycle is aimed at children with a minimum leg length of 35 cm and has a seat adjustable in five positions to accommodate their growth. Tesla recommends its use up to 30 kg in weight, although it indicates that it can support a maximum of 35 kg.
Among its most striking elements are the two-spoke wheels and a large integrated handlebar and stem set, an unusual solution for this type of children's bicycle.
It sells out in the United States as soon as it goes on sale
The bicycle has an official price of 225 dollars (USD) in Tesla's online store for the United States. Although the first units will not start shipping until the end of August, the product sold out just a few hours after appearing on the website and currently only allows signing up for a waiting list to receive a notification when it is back in stock.

In Canada, its commercialization is also planned with a price of 310 Canadian dollars (CAD), although reservations will not open until the end of July.
We will have to wait to see if this children's bicycle is just a one-time foray into the sector or the first step before Tesla eventually decides to develop the eBike that so many followers have been waiting for years.
