Specialized makes the Tarmac SL7 "Remco's Reign" frame available for sale on a limited edition
Seeking to honor World Champion Remco Evenepoel, Specialized has prepared a limited edition of 200 units of its Tarmac SL7 decorated in the same way as the one used by the Soudal-QuickStep rider this season.
One bike to rule them all
When in September 2022 Remco Evenepoel won the World Championships in Wollongong, Australia, he made history not only as one of the youngest cyclists to do so, but also as the certification of a great season in which he amazed us with his performance in Liège-Bastogne-Liège and throughout the three weeks of La Vuelta a España, the first grand tour of his career.
A reason to celebrate for Specialized, which has decided to launch a limited and numbered edition of 200 bikes, which are a replica of the machine being used by Remco Evenepoel in 2023.

Without being a particularly striking design, in which white predominates, being evident so outlined victory only in some logos and slogans that decorate the surface of their tubes. On the stays, we can read the words "Legends are built not born", indicating all the hard work behind Remco's victories.
On the top tube there is a logo alluding to the World Championship victory, with the name Remco Evenepoel and the number 2022 in Roman numerals, while on the inside of the fork there is a nod to the 10 victories Specialized bikes have won in this competition in the last 20 years.
This Tarmac SL7 Remco's Reign frame, which also includes fork, seatpost and stem, will only be available through the official website with in-store pickup option and is priced at €5,700. Of course, it maintains the same features that have made the Tarmac one of the most desired bikes by those who pedal on the roads, thanks to the great aerodynamic qualities provided by its Free Foil tubes, a very light weight of only 800 grams and a carbon laminate specifically designed to obtain the same performance in all sizes in what they call Rider First Engineering. By the way, this limited edition will only be manufactured in sizes 52, 54, 56 and 58 instead of the 6 options available in the standard models.
