Specialized adorns Victor Koretzky's S-Works Epic 8 with a rainbow
Just a few days ago, Frenchman Victor Koretzky renewed his rainbow jersey as Short Track World Champion. And Specialized has prepared a very special S-Works Epic 8 for him to wear during the Lenzerheide World Cup.
Koretzky debuts S-Works Epic 8 in Lenzerheide
Specialized has surprised Koretzky, and also his teammate Adrien Boichis (Under-23 World Champion), with a customization that pays tribute to his title and stands out for the unique details on its frame and components.
The new design starts with a white finish on the FACT 12m Carbon frame of the S-Works Epic 8. On this base, the rainbow colors appear on the top of the top tube, right where Koretzky only needs to look down to see his champion status, and on the bottom of the down tube. The S-Works letters stand out in black and also have a finish that reflects rainbow flashes.
The details are not limited to the frame and on the fork, unusually without logos, we see the rainbow in the lower area of the stanchions. The HT pedals combine white and gold, with a tiny rainbow integrated in the axle next to its name. A meticulous customization that completes a top-level assembly.
