Everything new from SRAM spotted at Koretzky's S-Works Epic 2023

Frenchman Victor Koretzky will make his European debut with his new team, Specialized Factory Racing, this Sunday at Los Internacionales de Chelva, where we got a close-up look at his S-Works Epic 2023. A bike loaded with new features and that mounts all the components, still unreleased, from SRAM, such as drivetrain and brakes.

Victor Koretzky's S-Works Epic 2023 in detail

This is the Specialized S-Works Epic with which we will see Koretzky and the rest of the team racing during the first events of 2023, but it wouldn't be unusual for us to hear news of a new model this year. Some images of what looks like an evolution of the Epic have already leaked, and we wouldn't be surprised to see more of one of those prototypes soon.

For the moment, let's take a detailed look at the whole setup chosen by Koretzky to race in Chelva.

For the first time we get a close-up look at the new SRAM Level silver brakes
The hydraulic reservoir is completely redesigned and looks to have more capacity. It could be that these new SRAM Levels will run on mineral oil instead of the DOT oil they used until now.
SRAM's new drivetrain is about to hit the market. It has a new derailleur without dropout, 10-52 cassette with new range, flattop chain (flat outer part), chainring and crankset.
We don't know if these are the new SRAM cranks with the logo covered or just another prototype.
The rear derailleur will be the first to be anchored directly to the frame without the need for a derailleur hanger. We are anxious to know what advantages this system brings and what will happen if it breaks in a crash, will we have to buy a complete rear derailleur?
Syntace handlebar and stem
RockShox SiD Luxe shock with remote lockout. No trace of the BRAIN system on Koretzky's bike.
RockShox SID 120mm fork also with manual lockout
Koretzky mounts SCOTT's Twinloc for fork and shock lockout.
For the seatpost, choose a blip button mounted behind the TwinLoc.
Specialized EVO Mirror saddle and SRAM Reverb dropper seatpost
Roval Control SL wheels with Specialized Renegade tyres
HT Components M2 pedals
