Rockrider pays tribute to the leadership of the World Cup

The New Zealander Samara Maxwell has been one of the great protagonists, and surprises, of the start of the XCO season. First, she won the Oceania Championship and arrived at the debut of the XCO World Cup where she won and finished second in the first two races. These results have catapulted her to number 4 in the UCI ranking and she is the current leader of the overall standings in the World Cup, something that is well reflected in the Rockrider RACE 904S that she will ride in Nove Mesto.

One of the novelties of the 2025 World Cup season is the choice of fixed numbers for all participants who have won at least one race in their career, but there is a number that could not be chosen, not even by Nino Schurter. The number 1 is reserved for the leader of the overall classification.

And at the Nove Mesto World Cup, Samara Maxwell will once again start with the number 1 as the current leader of the competition. But the number will not only be displayed on the bib as Rockrider has personalized her RACE 904S to match the characteristic red color of the leader's jersey.
