It is official, the Red Bull-Bora Hansgrohe team will be presented at the Tour de France 2024
Since the purchase of Bora Hansgrohe by Red Bull, there were speculations about when the Austrian energy drink company would appear on the team's jersey. A couple of months ago, it was pointed out that the Tour de France was the deadline for the name change, something that the team has just officially confirmed.

Red Bull-Bora Hangrohe, new team name starting from the Tour de France
The acquisition of Bora-Hansgrohe by Red Bull reflecting in the sponsorship was just a matter of time. Now, Ralph Denk confirms the agreement between the team, which, even though the majority of the ownership now belongs to the energy drink brand, he remains the team's leader.
The German leader was ecstatic about the sponsorship agreement "The number one brand, the most attractive brand in cycling. We have big goals with Red Bull. You need potential to win the Tour de France. It's not something that happens overnight. It's a medium and long-term project."

An investment that Ralph Denk confirmed would help them strengthen the team with the aim of winning the Tour de France, now being able to pursue the signing of big stars, although the German was clear in denying several rumors about signings of cyclists like Remco Evenepoel or Wout van Aert. Additionally, Bora-Hansgrohe will have a new U23 team to enhance their talent search program that started with the existing Red Bull Junior Brothers.
For now, they have already secured a top-notch team for the upcoming month of July, with cyclists like Jai Hindley, let's not forget, a winner of the Giro d'Italia, and of course, another winner of the Giro and the Vuelta like Primoz Roglic who is recovering well from the crash at the Itzulia and will have no problem arriving in top form at the start of the French tour.

The team will debut their new colors at the Tour de France, with several mock-ups circulating on social media of how their new kit could look, although none officially confirmed. The only certainty is the official name the team will have from that moment on: Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe.
