PedalEd launches foldable slippers for bikepacking
The foldable PedalEd Odyssey slippers are not designed for maximum performance on the bike, but rather the opposite. They are slippers intended for rest time, which begins after a long day of pedaling, but have been developed to take up the least possible space in transport.
The PedalEd Odyssey slippers are the new object of desire among bikepackers
In 2021 Lachlan Morton had some problems with his cycling shoes and pedaled almost the entire route of his particular Tour de France with the sandals he wore for walking during breaks. That's when we all discovered the true importance of having a good pair of sandals on multi-day cycling trips.
In that sense, the specialist equipment brand PedalEd has presented what they call the perfect sandals for bikepacking. They are moccasin-type slippers, foldable and very lightweight.

The upper part is made of a resistant fabric that adjusts with an elastic cord, and on its sole we find a high-quality Vibra rubber that would allow us to walk on any terrain with them.
At first sight, it is a comfortable, versatile footwear designed to be carried in any free space in our bikepacking bags or tied on top of them.
The Odyssey slippers are available in a single color, "Grey Ink," but include various colored elastic cords. They have a price of 135€ and although they are offered in sizes S, M, L, and XL (equivalent to sizes 35 to 49), the truth is that sizes M and L have sold out on their website.
So if you are interested in them and your size is no longer available on the official website, you can also look for them in other online or physical stores that carry products from the brand.
