New Pauline Ferrand-Prévot's BMC Fourstroke customised by No Curves
The current XCO World Champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot changed team this year to join Absolute Absalon, and with it she also changed her mountain bike to a BMC Fourstroke. A model with which we have seen her competing during the first races of the year but in a black version without any customization. This has changed completely with the spectacular BMC Fourstroke that she will ride from now on and that has been customised by the artist No Curves.
The Pauline Ferrand-Prévot's BMC Fourstroke by No Curves
Based in Milano, No Curves defines himself as a geometric artist and after accepting the commission to customise this mountain bike he posed a series of questions to Pauline and asked her to answer only with images.
This is why the World Champion herself has been part of the creative process of this model.

To fully understand the background behind the design, the brand, the artist and Pauline herself highlight five points:
- The vibrant colour palette makes use of her rainbow stripes, representing all of the continents, and Pauline’s fiery character.
- Not only a nod to the bikes’ natural terrain, the deconstructed mountains at the junction of the downtube and the seat tube represent the new challenge with BMC, the highs and lows of the sport and how easy it is to go from one to another.
- The panther on the head tube represents Pauline: super calm on the exterior but with an internal rage ready to be unleashed on race day.
- The BMC logo stays true to its DNA on the downtube but is joined by Pauline on the chainstay and a discrete signature by NO CURVES.
- Ensuring full compliance with the UCI World Champion stripes was worth breaking a sweat over and well suited to NO CURVES’ tape art approach. For that matter, each stripe is 8 mm in width.
