Paula Blasis's Colnago Y1R is stolen in the middle of the Volta a Catalunya Femenina
The Volta a Catalunya Femenina experienced an incident this Friday that was as unexpected as it was concerning. The UAE Team ADQ confirmed the bike's disappearance during the night and has requested public assistance to try to recover it. The theft has already been reported to the authorities, and an investigation has been opened.
The Catalan rider has competed throughout the spring with this bike, including some of the most important victories of her career. In addition to its economic value, the bike has a significant sporting and personal component for the cyclist.

The stolen model features the official colors of the UAE Team ADQ and is personalized with Blasi's identifying details, making it an easily recognizable bike and very complicated to sell without raising suspicions.
According to reports, the disappearance was detected by the team's mechanics during the usual checks they perform at the end of the day.
The bikes of the various teams were parked in the designated area in front of the hotels where the participants of the Volta a Catalunya Femenina are staying in Santa Susanna.
One of the most striking aspects of the case is that only Paula Blasi's bike disappeared. No other bike from the UAE Team ADQ or nearby teams was stolen, a detail that points to a very specific and possibly planned theft.
In any case, the incident will not affect Paula Blasi's participation in the queen stage this Saturday finishing in La Molina, as UAE Team ADQ has spare bikes available. However, the loss of her regular bike represents a significant setback for the Catalan at a peak moment of form.
