Orbea Fox Enduro Team ready to conquer the EWS
The renewed Orbea Fox Enduro Team 2022 is ready to conquer the EWS. After the latest additions, the team is a solid block to face a new season. Taking advantage of its official presentation, we are going to review its members, material and technical team.
Presentation of the Orbea Fox Enduro Team 2022
The Orbea Fox Enduro Team has always claimed to be a daring and non-conformist team, and with the arrival of Martin Maes and Flo Espiñeira for 2022, the team seems to have renewed enthusiasm and motivation.
Martin Maes and Vid Persak will generally focus their season on the Enduro World Series, while Flo Espiñeira and Edgar Carballo will be targeting the E-Enduro World Series with the Orbea Wild FS model. However, Flo and Edgar will also be able to compete in some of the EWS rounds on a Rallon, especially those where there is no electric competition.

“It’s an exciting year for us; we’re eager to start to compete and give it our all in every race. Martin and Flo are going to be very important riders in the Orbea Fox Enduro Team family and we cannot wait to see what we can achieve together,” says Sports Marketing and Sponsoring Manager, Iñaki Ucin.
In the technical structure of the team, Primo? Štrancar will once again be the Team Manager of the Orbea Fox Enduro Team, while Javier Lorenzo will be the team’s head mechanic and will be responsible for keeping the Rallon and Wild FS always ready.
As we have already mentioned, the new Orbea Rallon, presented a few months ago, will be the team's main bike in the Enduro World Series. And Orbea Enduro Team riders will be able to choose a Rallon full 29er or mullet, with an air or spring shock, depending on the course of each race.
For the EWS electric mode, the E-EWS, the team will be riding a Wild FS. An e-MTB bike on which Flo and Edgar will have to squeeze their 85Nm Bosch motor for the climbs, and push the suspension to the limit on the downhills.
The team will also have other Orbea models for training, such as the full suspension Oiz or the road Orca.
In addition, the Orbea FOX Enduro Team will continue to be supported by all of last season's friendly brands. This is what Iñaki Ucin said:
“Their help allows us to have this structure and to aspire to goals that would be unthinkable without their assistance. We are very pleased by the confidence they show in the project and the work we have been doing. In return, we will give it all we’ve got. We want to thank our main partners, Fox and Race Face, as well as all the others: Bluegrass, Fizik, Maxxis and Galfer. We’d also like to thank Bosch, who supports us in the E-EWS competition.”
