Only 150 units: Specialized creates a Diverge Pro LTD with a truly luxurious build

Less than a year after the presentation of the new generation of the Diverge, Specialized has just announced a very special edition of its most versatile and advanced gravel bike. The new Specialized Diverge 4 Pro LTD arrives as a limited series of only 150 units worldwide and automatically becomes one of the most exclusive versions ever marketed of this model.

The bike combines the main innovations introduced in the Diverge 4 presented in 2025 with some of the most advanced components from Specialized's current catalog, particularly highlighting the new Roval Terra CLX III wheels, the Shimano XTR Di2 electronic transmission, and a setup designed for both gravel competition and long-distance adventures.

A Diverge born to go faster and further

The Diverge 4 represented a profound evolution compared to the previous generation. Specialized maintained its philosophy of a bike capable of performing in competition, bikepacking, and exploration, but significantly enhanced its off-road capabilities.

Among the main innovations of this platform are:

• Future Shock 3.0 front suspension with 20 mm of travel and hydraulic cartridge.
• Wider tire clearance than ever in the history of the Diverge.
• New SWAT 4.0 internal storage system.
• Revised geometry to increase stability and control.
• Compatibility with tires up to 700x50c and even some 29x2.2 MTB tires.
• Optimized FACT carbon frame to improve response and efficiency.

The new Diverge Pro LTD uses this platform as a starting point but adds a very different setup from the rest of the range.

According to Specialized, this is a bike designed for "full race days and off-the-grid adventures", a philosophy reflected in each of its components.  

The new Roval Terra CLX III are the main stars

The most striking component of this limited edition is the new Roval Terra CLX III, the ultralight gravel wheels that the brand presented earlier this year.

These wheels were developed specifically for gravel from the ground up and not as an adaptation of road models. Their goal is to improve control, absorption, and efficiency on demanding terrains.

Among their most notable features are:

• Declared weight of only 1,079 grams per set.
• Internal width of 27 mm.
• Optimized design for tires of 40 mm or larger.
• More than a 21% improvement in lateral flex capacity compared to the previous generation.
• Composite spokes developed with ARRIS with titanium terminals.
• Increased resistance to impacts and punctures.

On the Diverge Pro LTD, they mount carbon rims with 27 mm internal width and 25.5 mm profile, accompanied by the exclusive Roval by ARRIS composite spokes.  

Premium setup with Shimano XTR Di2

Although the Diverge is a gravel bike, Specialized has opted to use the latest technology from Shimano directly from mountain biking.

The group combines Shimano GRX Di2 controls and brakes with the new Shimano XTR Di2 M9250 12-speed rear derailleur and an XTR 10-51 tooth cassette.  

The transmission is completed with Easton EC90 ALX cranks equipped with a 40-tooth chainring and integrated 4iiii power meter.  

This is a configuration designed to offer a huge range of gears for both competition and adventure rides with significant elevation changes.

50 mm tires and top-level components

The bike comes equipped as standard with Specialized Tracer TLR 700x50c tires, making the most of the huge tire clearance of the new Diverge.  

The rest of the setup maintains the same premium level:

• Roval Terra carbon handlebar with 12° flare.
• S-Works SL stem with titanium hardware.
• Roval Terra Carbon seatpost.
• S-Works Power saddle with Mirror technology.
• Integrated SWAT 4.0 internal storage in the down tube.  

Only 150 units for the whole world

Specialized has confirmed that this edition will have an extremely limited production.

The Diverge 4 Pro LTD will be available only in Gloss Shadow Silver / Obsidian Metallic color and production will be limited to 150 bikes for the entire global market. Once sold out, there will be no restocking.  

Additionally, the brand declares a weight of only 8.5 kg in size 56, a particularly striking figure for a bike equipped with front suspension, 50 mm tires, and a configuration clearly oriented towards adventure.
