Scott has introduced the new Road Comp, a road shoe aimed at cyclists who are looking for a comfortable and reliable model for daily use without sacrificing good performance on the bike. Available in specific versions for men and women, they feature the BOA® Fit L6 adjustment system, a sole with a stiffness index of 6 and a price of 119.90 euros.

The brand defines this new model as a shoe designed for those who “measure their days in kilometers, not in minutes”, with an approach that prioritizes comfort during long hours in the saddle while maintaining efficient power transfer.

One of the main arguments for the new Scott Road Comp is the incorporation of the BOA® Fit L6 system, which allows for quick and precise adjustments via a micrometric dial. This system is combined with the so-called Sport Fit from Scott, designed to provide a comfortable fit and minimize pressure points during multi-hour rides.

The shoe also includes a removable ErgoLogic insole, developed to improve ergonomics and increase comfort both on the bike and while walking.

Stiffness 6 sole to balance performance and comfort

The Scott Road Comp uses a composite sole made of polyamide reinforced with fiberglass that reaches a stiffness index of 6 within the brand's scale.

This configuration aims to offer a compromise between good power transfer while pedaling and sufficient flexibility to walk more comfortably when necessary, a feature especially useful on cycling tours or during regular stops.

Additionally, the shoes are compatible with three-bolt cleats, allowing them to be used with the main road-specific pedals.

Durable upper for daily use

Scott has opted for a polyurethane and polyester upper (the body of the shoe) designed to withstand continuous use. According to the brand, the goal has been to develop a durable shoe for those who train or ride on the road regularly.
