New Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC X tyres for the most demanding terrains
Pirelli continues to expand its range of gravel tyres by adding a new option, these Cinturato Gravel RC X, an evolved version of its gravel racing tyres designed to guarantee maximum reliability on the toughest and most demanding terrain.
Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC X, total reliability
About a year ago Pirelli added to its range of gravel tyres the Cinturato Gravel RC, tyres created to meet the needs of those who race in gravel events. These tyres are designed to offer the lowest rolling resistance in the wide variety of terrain found in this type of event and complement the existing Cinturato Gravel H, for dry and compact terrain, and Cinturato Gravel M, for mixed terrain and wet conditions.
Now, Pirelli adds these Cinturato Gravel RC X tyres, which are an evolution of its competition tyres to meet the evolution of gravel competitions, which increasingly include more complicated areas, with rocky or trail sections, which, added to the long distances to be faced in this type of events, requires a shoe with the maximum guarantees of reliability.

The tread pattern of these new Cinturato Gravel RC X tyres is derived from their Scorpio XC RC mountain bike tyres, the most competitive option for XC/Marathon riders. The tread combines a central area with low lugs close together for good rolling capacity, and very prominent side lugs capable of providing good cornering grip even on soft terrain.
We also find evolution in the construction of its casing, evolving its protection structure from sidewall to sidewall with TechWALL X technology in which the fabric of the casing, made with a density of 60 TPI, goes from one sidewall to the other and then folds and re-coats the entire surface in a double layer that makes these tyres practically invulnerable to cuts as well as providing extra support in the supports with the low pressures used in this modality.
Regarding the tread compound, Pirelli continues to rely on its SpeedGRIP compound, the same used in its road bike tyres, which ensures optimal grip even on wet terrain without compromising tyre life.
These tyres were launched during the last edition of the Unbound Gravel by AG2R-Citroën rider Larry Warbasse and Hanna Shell.
The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel RC X are already available in the usual points of sale in 3 sizes: 700x35c with cream colored sidewalls, 700x40c with black sidewalls and 700x45c in cream color as well as the 35, although the brand has not communicated the official price, they can already be seen in different online websites with a price around 60 €.
