New Orbea Terra or a completely new model? This is the prototype spotted at Unbound Gravel 2025
Unbound Gravel has become a privileged showcase for brands that want to test prototypes and technological innovations. This 2025, in addition to the possible new Specialized Diverge, it has been Orbea that has aroused the curiosity of many by presenting, although without an official announcement, what appears to be a new gravel bike focused on competition.
New Orbea Terra or a completely new model?
Orbea will be present at Unbound Gravel with four official cyclists: Griffin Easter from the Opicure Foundation, Morgan Aguirre from PAS Racing - Orbea, Lawrence Naesen from Orbea - Rapha, and Lukas Baum - Speed Company Racing. And some of them have already been seen on social media with an Orbea never seen before, labeled with the OOLab distinctive, the development and innovation laboratory of the Basque brand.
Although there is no official confirmation, everything points to it being a new model, or at least a deep evolution of the current Orbea Terra. Among the most notable changes that can be extracted from several images and videos are a new frame with low rear stays, a larger wheel clearance, an aerodynamic profile fork, hidden seatpost and clamp, and the UDH dropout standard for the new SRAM transmissions.
