The new Orbea Rise 2025 arrives in aluminum and more affordable carbon models
Orbea announces the launch of five models to complete the Rise 2025 range. The new family members further expand the range of options for both SL and LT versions, as well as expand the offering of carbon frames and introduce the aluminum one. All models lower the prices of a range that now starts at 5,499 euros.
Orbea Rise 2025: the complete family of a renewed lightweight e-MTB reference
The Orbea Rise 2025 was presented just over a month ago with several updates. The Rise has been successful in the emerging market of lightweight e-MTBs since its debut in 2020 and has established itself as one of the reference models. Cycling is a dynamic sport that forces manufacturers to constantly innovate, so Orbea has included a range of new features with the aim of remaining one of the leading voices in this segment of the cycling market.

In short, the renewal of the Rise 2025 involved a new frame and geometry, increased travel, a new Shimano EP Rider Synergy Gen2 system, increased autonomy, two battery options -630 and 430 Wh- and an increase in maximum torque up to 85 Nm.
Electric assistance is one of the key points emphasized by the manufacturer: Shimano EP motors that integrate Orbea's latest RS firmware and custom batteries that offer the highest energy density on the market.
The Rise range is fundamentally divided into two versions: SL -with 140 mm of travel front and rear- and LT -with 160 mm front and 150 mm rear-. In the first case, it is a bike for flowing on suitable trails and offers the option to change the suspension kinematics, while in the second case, it offers an aggressive geometry and great capabilities on more technical trails.
Now, Orbea announces that it is expanding the Rise family with five new models. If only carbon versions were shown at the presentation, in this case three of the new members are aluminum -with a new assembly option for the SL version and two for the LT-, along with a carbon model -available for both SL and LT-.
Efforts have focused on providing quality aluminum frames, so they are made of triple butted, hydroformed aluminum with polished welds.
The entry prices of the range are significantly reduced and make technologies such as the new Orbea RS Gen2 MC firmware for Shimano EP, Steep'N'Deep, Alttitude Adjust, or compatibility with FLP tools more accessible.
