New KMC MTB Racing Team 2023, Bart Brentjens' team changes sponsors and will race with Ridley bikes
The news has just been published by the team itself on its website, but this movement of sponsors brings forward others that were already rumoured. “I am proud that KMC will be the main sponsor of our international mountainbike team from 2023, on the way to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. KMC, the largest chain producer worldwide, has been 2017 a loyal and committed sponsor of the Team.”
With this change, the team farewells their sponsor CST, with whom they have been collaborating for 14 years, and Bafang, although PostNL will continue to work with them.
Ridley will be at the MTB World Cup
Another important change is the arrival of Ridley as a bike supplier. This move is important for the team, which will leave American Eagle to start racing with Ridley's Raft XC and Probe RS models, but also for the bike brand, which will be represented in the top XC competition.
With the announcement of the new KMC MTB Racing Team it was expected that they would confirm their riders or announce any changes, but this has not been the case. The team is currently composed by Yana Belomoina, Anne Tauber, David Nordemann, Martins Blums, Sasha Hudyma and Lotte Koopmans.
