Natalia Fischer will not continue in the BH COLOMA TEAM
The year is coming to an end and the time of signings between cyclists and mountain bike teams begins. The Spanish-Swiss Natalia Fischer has just announced that she will not continue with the BH Coloma Team in 2024, which will leave a gap in the team and leaves us wondering what will be the next destination of the former European XCM champion.
Natalia Fischer will change teams in 2024
Natalia Fischer joined the BH Coloma Team in 2022 and with the team she has won a national XCM title, a Mediterranean Epic and a European XCM championship, among many other achievements. The sporting demand of combining World Cup XCO races (in the fight for an Olympic spot) with long distance made her have to take a break at the end of this season, but in the statement she herself announces her end with the BH Coloma Team, the Malaga native makes it clear that she will not stop competing in 2024:
It has been two wonderful years with my second family BH COLOMA TEAM.
RECOMENDADO
I remember exactly the place and time when Carlos Coloma called me to be part of his structure.
With respect and enthusiasm I could not reject that offer... at that time I had my own humble structure, where I managed almost everything myself.
It was a huge leap in quality, to the best or one of the best XCO teams in the world, with teammates with a lot of experience and who have been professionals for many years and also with a great staff that we form a great family.
I have achieved great results, such as winning a European XCM championship, a Mediterranean Epic, the Spanish XCO cup, etc.. but above all what I have won is a BRUTAL LEARNING, a great EXPERIENCE, TRIPS, LAUGHS and many FRIENDS.
Thank you all for all the efforts you have made for the team, to all the sponsors and personally, I would like to thank Carlos Coloma for giving me this opportunity, for opening your arms to me, for letting me into your home, for giving me your love and support, THANK YOU FROM THE HEART.
Now our paths separate and hopefully in the future we will cross again...
See you at the races FRIENDS.
That's how Fischer said goodbye to what has been her team for the last two seasons.
