More images of what appears to be a new electronic FOX shock absorber
In recent months, the new Rockshox Flight Attendant has been getting all the attention in terms of electronic suspensions, but we cannot forget that FOX was the first manufacturer to introduce its electronic Live Valve system into competition years ago and now it seems to have a new version about to be released.

At the end of 2023, we saw for the first time this Live Valve 2.0 (we have no idea if it will be finally called that) mounted on the Giant Reign Advanced Pro of the Giant Enduro team, and now, in the same modality, we see it on this Commencal META V5 from the brand's factory team.
The first round of the UCI Enduro World Cup 2024 was held last weekend in Finale Ligure, Italy, and there we saw again a new FOX electronic shock absorber that, unlike the first version of Live Valve, here dispenses with cables and has an autonomous battery. The cables and the need to install a separate unit from the shock absorber were the main limitations of the FOX Live Valve until now, as it was difficult to install in any frame.
But this new version seems to, like in RockShox, include all the electronic system compactly within the shock absorber, with a removable battery included, and is complemented by at least one sensor near the rear axle of the bike and a remote control.

So far, we have not seen any FOX fork implementing the new system, only shock absorbers include it. But with the recent presentation of the RockShox Flight Attendant for XC, it would not be surprising if FOX could present these innovations adapted to the XCO modality and before the Olympics.
