Miguel Induráin joins the SCOTT family
Miguel Induráin from Navarre is still the only cyclist to have won five consecutive Tour de France, and his track record also includes two Giros d'Italia, a World Championship and Olympic gold in time trials. He is considered the best Spanish cyclist of all time and has received numerous awards for his career, including the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports in 1992.

Now, after many years with the same bike brand, Induráin and SCOTT have just announced an agreement in which La locomotora de Villava will ride SCOTT bikes in his training and upcoming adventures.
"I've always liked SCOTT bikes, and the latest road models were quite appealing to me. Their design, aesthetics and aerodynamic shape made me decide to ride them." - Miguel Induráin
For this season, Miguel will be riding the SCOTT Foil RC, the most versatile aerodynamic bike on the market, and the SCOTT Scale RC, the brand's new and best hardtail MTB.
It will be on the SCOTT Scale RC that we will see Miguel Induráin travel to Morocco to enjoy the Titan Desert, a seven-day desert race that will begin on April 30th and in which he will cover more than 600 km.
SCOTT Spain, for its part, was enthusiastic about Miguel's arrival to the brand:
"We are proud to have one of the most important athletes in history join the SCOTT family. The fact that the best Spanish cyclist will ride our new Foil RC makes us even more confident that we are doing a great job in every way. From the moment we contacted Miguel, we understood each other perfectly because behind the great athlete, there is also a great person." - Joel Casado, SCOTT Marketing Manager
